Ships Passing In the Night - 2019

“Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing, Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness; So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another, Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.”

This wire sculpture series is mainly to express some encounters and passing by in our lives. By combining the story of weaving and wire to space sculpture, showing a brief intersection, our connection with time, place and environment, this series tries to explore some psychological ideas or feedback behaviors that we have not seen or noticed in daily life.

We always see new faces in our daily life, but most of the time we won't have any connection. At a moment's pause, we will notice what we missed and what we encountered.
